Welcome to the page of Wes and Ann White.

Our story started almost 55 years ago, when a 17 year old senior in high school met a dashing marine at at USO dance in Oceanside , California.  Just a few weeks later he was placed on 24 hour alert to be shipped to Korea and he did not want to go to war unless we were married, so guess what?  We eloped….Now here we are, still married and still in love, after all these years. We were blessed with four beautiful, talented and gifted children. ( and we are not prejudiced at all). Richard Dean, David Wesley, LeAnn Elizabeth, Lori Sue. Unfortunately last April we lost one of our beloved sons, David.  We have been through a lot togeather, the loss of our son, my brother, a grandson, and our parents , we have fought breast cancer and lymphoma, We have endured the loss of jobs and the struggle of building our own business from scratch…But through all these struggles and hardships we became  stronger and never lost sight of the fact that we  always had our heavenly Father by our side to hold us up.  We are so thankful for  our children in love, Karen, Johnny, and Tommy. And how can we express the great joy our awesome grandchildren have given us. Dani, Zac, Lexi, Andie, Reanna, Wesley, Jay and Steven and our little angel in heaven,Jonathan.  And now we are even more joyous with the addition of their mates, Keith, Miki, Adam S. and Adam C. and Jeff.  Our hearts are  full   because  of our GREAT grandchldren, Will, Susannah, Jake, Sarah Beth, Selah, and this past year Cole, Eli, Jack, Kason and Collin, and hopefully, there will be many more.  We are now a family of 31 and still growing. We love it,  We are so thankful for the wonderful example our parents set for us and for instilling in us the importance of family. The happiest times of our lives is when our family and friends come  to  Papas Paradise.

Gran and grandy, sorry but I meant to tell you yesterday. Happy anniversary to you. Your marriage is such a testiment to the family. It’s the core of our values. We all thank you for that and hope you both enjoyed your day.

Another true testimate to loving the family is remembering all those names.

  • Zac says:

Glad ya’ll like the gifts! We missed you guys last weekend. I would have loved to see the tackiness? I assume everyone just wore their regular clothes right? Anything different and we might lose our Tacky status!!

Looking forward to the ski trip. Hopefully this can become a tradition even if we can’t do it every year. Shceduling will always be hard with a large family like ours, but how lucky we are to have that small problem. Love you guys!

Hey Gran!! I lost the picture of the PB too..ha ha. I had Adam Crain on the phone with me last night trying to figure it out, but I am so goofy when it comes to computers, that I wasnt able to. I put a description of what we are using it for, and maybe after Adam’s bday, he can help me figure out how to put it back on there so Grandy can see it….def want him to see it because we LOVE it!! I had sooooo much fun with our “tacky” family. I love that we can all get together and be silly and no one cares…we all play along. I think that a lot of families wouldnt have done we did. I totally agree about rescheduling a game of bunko. We will def do it 🙂 I love you!!
