Welcome to the Crain’s page.

DP-2234We are the Crain family!! We are so excited to share some of our greatest memories with you.  Here are just a few of them:

I, Andie, was born on January 9, 1986 to Tommy and Lori.  I’m so grateful that God chose to put me in this wonderful family.  I grew up surrounded by people who love and support me.  I have two wonderful brothers, Wesley and Steven, whom I love very much.  They are so different, but I enjoy hanging out with both of them!  Some of my favorite memories of Wes and I are when we used to “wrastle” with dad for hours and hours.  And, Steven was my first baby.  I used to feed him and love on him for hours on end.  I still love how Wes and Steven still call me Sissy.  And…I can’t even begin to tell you about my wonderful parents.  My daddy is one of the most wonderful and kind hearted people I know and I can count on him for everything.  My mama is beautiful, kind, and everything I want to be as a mother.  I could go on and on about my immediate family, but I will stop there.

I have also been blessed with a huge extended family.  There is not a single person in this family who doesn’t have my back on whatever I choose to do in life. My two best friends in the world are my two cousins, Lexi and ReAnna. I truly do not know where I would be without them.  And now…we all have little boys that are even closer in age than we are.  I can’t wait to see what troubles (joys) they will bring us. I just love our little boys!

Here is a little about Adam and I: Adam used to teasehis friend Stephanie that he was going to date his boss’s daughter and get her fired.  Well, I was her boss’s daughter.  He wasn’t being serious about getting her fired (he saw my picure on my mom’s locker at work and said that I was the prettiest girl he’d ever seen…something like that anyway…lol). We were both so busy that we actually talked on the phone for a few weeks before we could meet.  I thought he was going to be a nerd because he was a computer geek (he was the webmaster at Miles College back then), and he just sounded nerdy on the phone.  He was definitely not a nerd though.  I remember being nervous for our first date, but I got even more nervous when I saw him walking up the driveway.  Adam was tan, tall, and handsome. And then he got close enough for me to see his freckles and that was it for me…I was in love (I used to pray for freckles because all of my cousins had them and I loved them and I wanted some too).  Our first date was great, but our second was the best.  We went to historic Rickwood Field where Adam hit me a home run.  That was the day we first kissed too :).  We were married on May 1, 2009.  The day we came home from our honeymoon we decided to go get a chocolate lab.  We came home with two!!  They are named Emmie and Ellie and we love them very much. We call them “the girls.”

The two best days of my life are the day I got married to my soul mate and the day our son was born.  His name is Eli Thomas Crain.  He was born on December 16, 2010 at 1:21pm weighing 7lbs 4oz.  He looked just like Adam and he was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.  Dani, one of my cousins got to deliver Eli (she is the best nurse ever!). He has brought us so much joy and happiness.  I’m falling more and more in love with him everyday. I am really enjoying being a mama to my Eli, and I’m falling more in love with my husband because he is such a great daddy (I knew he would be).  I love seeing my boys play and laugh together.

My first nephew came this year too!  His name is Kason Wesley and he was born on a very special day May 30, 2011 (Dave’s birthday).  He has been such a joy and blessing to our family.  I love this little boy to pieces.

Adam is a fireman at Pleasant Grove Fire Department and Fultondale Fire Department.  He is very dedicated to his career and I’m so proud of him.  I am a nurse in Special Care at Children’s Hospital.  I love my job and my kiddos that I get to take care of when I’m away from my own kiddo.

This is my little piece of Papa’s Paradise.  Thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy 🙂
